 William ChowWilliam Chow has a website with tessellations, interlocking shapes and Java applets for tessellations.
He also made a CD-rom "Tessellations and Symmetry", which is a great resource on information about tessellations.
On his site you can also buy little books. The book "Space, Shape and Tessellations", explains how you can apply tessellations on three dimensional shapes.
